It depends.

I research the celebrity's signing habbits first. If the celebrity usually provides their own picture(s) -whose quality is usually better than anything I could print with glossy photo paper from home- I don't send any. In a normal request, I send one photo and a couple index cards. If the celebrity is incredibly hot at the time (i.e. Megan Fox, Daniel Radcliffe, etc) I send multiple pictures and cross my fingers that he/she signs them all.

I'm not sure why you're asking, so let me go back and answer different questions...

If you're asking to see if you're sending too much or too little as to not appear rude or needy, you can never send enough. If the celebrity wants to sign multiple items, he/she will; if not, they won't. I doubt any celebrity would not sign any of your pictures for the sole reason that you sent more than one.

If you're asking based on cost-efficiency, might I suggest other than than photos? DVD covers, CD books, index cards, DVD inserts, VHS boxes, vinyl cases, CD/DVD's themselves (not recommended), etc.

you've got a point, cdunn. but i have 5 photos i'd like to get signed. i've been trying to pick out the best 2 but i love them all and choosing is so difficult! i don't want to send all 5 and appear to be too greedy and make myself look bad.

Generally, I've sent up to three. That way a celeb can choose which photo they want to sign, or sign all of them.

Usually one, but sometimes two or three. It really depends on the celebrity and how much I like the photo's. I don't think it's rude or greedy to send more than one. I would keep it below three though. It takes the celebrity all of 5 seconds to sign a picture with a dedication. Big deal...

well as i mentioned, i have 5 photos and i've been trying to pick out the best 2 or 3 but i love them all. i think sending all 5 may be a bit much so i was interested in hearing what other people may do in my situation lol

I (almost) always send 2. It's a nice even number

Any more than 3 and whomever you're sending the request to may think you're a bit greedy.
