I have sent 12 letters out over 7 months ago and have had not one reply! I'm starting to wonder if they all got lost in the mail as they were travelling to America (from the U.K.). I included everything recommended i.e. sase, ircs and I have not had a reply back from anyone
:cry: Should i send again? :?

Same here...Looks like I'm not very lucky at the moment. I'll wait a little bit longer as I sent them in March but after I'll resend them ;)
Good luck with yours! {thumb2}

It depends, who did you send to?
If others from the UK have receieved replies from them then maybe send again, but if others haven't heard back I wouldn't worry yet. :)

Hi, thankyou for your comments! {thumb2} I think I might just wait it out a bit longer and see if anything arrives

Sometimes it can take a long time to get a reply. The key to this hobby is patience. :lol: I think the recommended waiting time before re-sending is a year.

You just need to be patient... I know it's hard. I've sent out over 150 requests in the last year and only got 1/3 of those back. It may take a long time. Be patient {thumb2}

I totally agree! I have had a success come back recently and it took almost 2 years!

xBethany ... who did you send your requests to? Have there been any positive feedback from them before? Unfortunately there are many people that take a long time to respond or in the worst instance don't respond at all. For those that don't respond there are always instances where there'll be a response out of the blue, so don't worry :)

Keep your fingers crossed.

Seven months isn't a particularly long time to wait. Give it time before writing again.

I live in America and sent Sir Ian McKellen and Hayley Mills requests on the same day. I had seen on this website that both of them have somewhat of a quick response time. After six months- nothing. I figured they were lost in the mail or something. Finally, after 8 months I received my autographed photo back from Hayley Mills. It’s been 1 year and 4 months- I still haven’t heard from Ian McKellen.

It really just depends on how busy the celebrity is, how tall their stacks of autograph requests are, or if they just don’t feel like signing at the moment. I've seen some celebrities on here that haven’t had a success for months- then all of a sudden you see 3 - 4 success stories from them in a week. Some celebrities put off signing TTM for months and then one weekend when they have time, they sit down and go thru all their fan mail.

I would wait a little bit longer- then try again after a few months.
