The pic/ size makes the autograph?
Hey everyone,
for some reason, i have the mindset that the picture/ size of it makes the autographs. meaning im not happy with small pics (4x6,5x7) and ugly pictures even if ther 8x10s. i also could never b happy with an autograph that wasnt on a picture at all. does anyone else feel this way or am i just totally weird and ungrateful?

Hi,
I usually dont mind what size the autographs are. I do prefer autographs on pictures but it depends what you want to do with them. I often display mine on there own in a frame so and index card probably wouldnt look so good, but if I wanted loads of autographs in a frame i'd probably go with matting index cards.
It all comes down to preference, send out your pics to get signed if you want them a certain way.
Good luck with your collecting!

Hello,
I also prefer signed pictures over index cards but I think it's better to have a signed index card than nothing at all! I'm not too bothered about the size, although I do prefer 6x4's as they fit nicely into the photo albums with the slots which is where I prefer to keep my autographs. If they're any bigger then I keep them in a plastic wallet in a ring binder so it doesn't bother me that much.

I prefer pictures, rather than anything else. I typically collect only 8x10's, but I have other sizes photo's also.

I prefer pictures over index cards but i prefer 4x6 & 5x7 over 8x10 unless its a 8x10 that the star supplied because they are usually pretty cool but i find most 8x10 size people print themselves or have printed somewhere to send look cheesy because they usually arent that great quality at that size or too glossy for such a big picture,So yeah i would say my favourite is 5x7 its the perfect size but 4x6 is good too and still looks great,I think the most important part isnt the size but making sure its a cool picture and you find a picture that has a nice light area for the autograph to stand out.I print most of my pictures on only half the picture paper so that half is left white for the autograph but it would look weird doing that on anything bigger than 5x7.

VERY ungrateful! I send index cards for an auto, its really not the picture that matters, its the autigrah its self. The picture is just icing on the cake.

Yea I Kinda Agree...If a Celeb That You admire Is Signing an Index Card For You...U Should Be Grateful And Not Complain...I Complained About a Autopen From Someone And Found Out That That Person Has a Condition And I Felt Bad...lol....So I Dnt Complian
If YOU Want An 8x10 Photo.....Then Go Print an 8x10 @ CVS Or WALMART For $6.99 And Then They Will Sign It But UNTIL Your Using YOUR MONEY To Print The Sized Photo That You Prefer DONT COMPLAIN Cuz That Makes You Seem Selfish.
Re: The pic/ size makes the autograph?
I don't care either way, though I do prefer 8x10s and they make up most of my collection.

But Do You Complain When You Dnt Get an 8x10?dfreely wrote:I don't care either way, though I do prefer 8x10s and they make up most of my collection.
Re: The pic/ size makes the autograph?
Isn't that a weird question? What's there to complain about?
..though, I don't think I've actually gotten any picture that wasn't 8x10.
