Index cards - where to buy?

I am just wondering where people buy plain white index cards and how much they pay for them? I would prefer things in pound sterling.

I am really struggling to get plain white cards. My local WHSmith only sells ruled cards which I do not want and the other shops just don't stock any type of index card.

I also cannot really cut out my own cards because I am not very good at cutting in straight lines nor is it really logical for me to getting one of those cutting machine things.

Hello,

I get mine from Ryman - They are £1.49 for 100 cards.

You can see them here: http://www.ryman.co.uk/RECORD-CARDS-PLA ... 132016.asp

I often buy them as cheaply as possible. I don't worry about the lines on one side. I mostly use them IP anyway, so I just hand them over with the blank white side up and it has never been a problem.

A word of caution though. I have had refusals with them. Some celebrities and athletes are worried about identity theft and have refused to sign my index cards. So it's generally better to find a picture or something instead.

thanks for the help.

The reason I wanted non-ruled ones was to be able to print my own designs on them. I already have cards with lines on which I have tried to print my designs on but it looks pretty awful with the lines running through them.

I've only ever seen ones which are ruled on both sides. But I will try to get in the Rymans in the city at the weekend or sometime. It's a shame their online postage charges are so horrendous as I would have done it that way.

I tend to use Rymans too; they're of pretty good card stock, not too shiny or anything.

I have done the same thing. But for some of the better players (or sentimental favorites) I send index cards I have bought from this site:

I know it's not cheap compared to the index cards but I don't mind spending a little bit more for a Don Zimmer or Boo Ferris autograph, especially when I don't have anything else to send them.
