I have Ringo Starr, but I am looking to purchase autographs from the other three Beatles.

I've looked a bit on eBay, but I don't trust most of them.

Does anyone know of any legit websites that sell Beatles autographs?

Basically yes and no, many times there is no way of knowing. John died in 1980, he was really good about signing, and from what I hear he signed for everyone who asked, however that was 30 years ago so you can "imagine" how hard those are to find, you can find preprints, I'm pretty sure I have one laying around somewhere, some of the official Lennon gear has a printed sig on it. Paul rarely signs and most of those who have them are not willing to part with them. George wasn't big into signing, he was very private, and he died in 2001. It's not good news, I don't even have Ringo, I'm waiting for him to change his mind on the fanmail thing.

The good news, is that Klaus, George Martin and Yoko are all good for signing TTM

I am afraid that you are in for a difficult time trying to find Beatle autographs. I would strongly advise against buying Beatle autographs through e-Bay.

I was fortunate to get John to sign IP for me in he early 70's. He signed a sheet of hotel letterhead using my sisters soft purse to support the paper & pencil.

The bottom line is that those of us that have legitimate Beatle autographs are generally unwilling to part with them but those that have fakes are more than willing to part with them for a thouseand dollars or more.

This is like 6 bucks and probably the best way to go, buying anything claiming to be authentic is a gamble, short of going to a special charity auction with stuff donated by Paul or Yoko, but that stuff goes for thousands

Your best way of going about purchasing authentic beatles merchandise is to research a UACC dealer who has a solid reputation. Look for one who has sold beatles signatures in the past. With reasearch you will find someone who is reputable who has them.

Expect to spend a LARGE sum of money. Lennon will be the most expensive with Harrison close behind him; as mentioned above he didn't sign anywhere near what John did even though he lived so much longer. If you just want something with their signature and don't care about the item it's on, the condition of the item (e.i. crumpled napkin instead of perfect napkin), or the quality of the signature (e.i. 100% perfec signature or a rushed signature) you cna get it for less.

I've been a big fan of the group for 25 years now. I've always wanted to collect all 4 of their autographs but the price and shady market has kept me away. When a celeb is deceased there is an influx of forged signatures. When the star is someone like John Lennon or Elvis forgery rings hire some of the best handwriting analysts and artists available to sign thousands of items. Authentication companies are not perfect (as most know many are a joke) so fakes get passed as real all the time.

If you are going to buy something just do as much research as possible. A COA isn't enough, try to find out who got it signed, what year and where . The more info the better.
