Email addresses on your letters?

Hey fanmail

On the top of all my LOR's I write 'My email address: (MY EMAIL)' and I draw a little bubble around it.
I dont know why I do this because I never get any emails regarding my letter but I still do it
Does anyone else do this?
If so have you ever got an email about your letter?

i write my e-mail dwon on every LOR also, but i got a a couple of replies from the celeb sec that my autograph is on my way but that mostly it. it never hurts to put your e-mail down! i even put my cell phone(you never know!)

I guess I'm extremely pessimistic (and a bit paranoid) that it may fall into the wrong hands and I may get like 1000 SPAM e-mails! :neutral:

I remember reading about someone putting their phone number, and actually getting a call.

I've put my number down once or twice. Hehe.

I've always wanted to, but never quite figured out how. Like I want to put my email & numbers in a way that doesnt look like I'm asking for a response. Maybe I'll get some headed notepaper one day

I designed some nice looking letter head on the same program that I create my Custom index cards with and use that when writing my requests. I has my name on it, my address, email addresses and phone number. I have gotten several emails from celebs letting me know that they got my letter, signed my items and would return them ASAP.

Hello

I have only done this once, the main reason being I mean to but then totally forget! I need to get into a habit of writing it under my address.

The only thing that worries me a little is if the celebrity decides to email me a picture of their autograph for me to print out myself rather than send me one through the post. I remember this happening when I was a kid when the Disney Channel UK used to have presenters, I wrote to them for an autograph and got emailed a copy. I would hate for this to happen again!

I usually include my email address under my home address. I have only gotten one reply through email from Bud Selig's secretary telling me she was sending some items. I also include my phone number and have gotten calls from Wally Wingert of Family Guy, Pianist Vallery Lloyd-Watts, and former BC Premier Bill Vander Zalm.

Yes I have heard about celebrities calling fans. I remember reading in a magazine when I was younger that Beyonce called a girl who had wrote to her and saved her life. I personally would never put my phone number down though as I honestly wouldn't want them to call! I would just be way too scared and wouldn't be able to think of anything to say to them as I would just be too nervous and in shock - it would be a mess!
