So, I'm about ready to order an Anvil CD book signed. It says its autographed, so does that mean by the whole band? or just one member? Also, does it come with the CD or just the book? Thanks!

The cd's are new in their original wrapping. With purchase you get a another cd booklet that is signed by the artist or in the instance of a band (usually) the entire band. In the case of Anvil it is signed by the three members. Here's a look at what it will look like:

They aren't very descriptive about who has signed the promo item, but if you check eBay you will see examples of what the item will look like. An example: The Scarlett Johansson / Pete Yorn cd didn't say who signed it, but it was intimated that only Pete Yorn signed for this promo. Actually they both signed some, but now the description says that it is only signed by Pete Yorn, so they must have run out.

Newbury is a great source for authentic signed CD's. I have been purchasing from them for the past year. Highly recomended

I got a signed CD case along with a Great Big Sea CD from Newbury Comics. I prefer their in-stores, though.

And I think there are about 10 different stores.

Sorry to bump this topic, but I figured I'd ask my question here rather then create a new topic.

How can you tell who the item is signed by? As far as band wise?

Most of the time it is by the entire band, but they don't list signers on their site.
