do you keep your letter and send it when you find another address,
OR
throw your letter away and start fresh when you find another address?
I'd like to hear your opinions!

Hello
I have only ever had one RTS, which was from Mischa Barton in 2006. Well I kept the letter and I actually sent it out again last summer! So although the letter was dated 2006, I just put a little note at the bottom saying that this was how long I had been trying to contact her for and that I had stayed a true and dedicated fan the whole time etc.
If I ever get any more RTS's then I will definitely keep them and resend them to a different address.

The day I get it I find a new address and send it back the next day.
Even if you have to wait say 6 months, or even 3 years, why throw it out and waste all that time rewriting the letter??? I really don't understand why anyone would throw it away. The address was bad, not the letter

If i have another address i send it off again & if i don't have another address i throw the letter away but i would keep the pictures just in case something comes up again.Although i have only ever had afew RTS & one was from someone who had died.

I have never received a RTS, I wish I would though. I have had numerous MIA requests. If I receive one I will just send the same LOR again. Why would I write another letter?

I've had one RTS and since it was only a matter of a week or two, I resent the same letter. But for me it would depend on how long it is between attempts. I don't want to send a letter that is dated six months ago. I'm not so lazy that I can't take the time to rewrite a one-page letter, even if all I do is put the current date down and copy the original letter. Besides, I have a bad habit of hoarding too much junk and it would probably get lost in all the clutter anyway.

Why would you ask for an RTS? Trust me, they are not fun to get.
What is an MIA request?

Why you ask? Because I'd rather get something back than nothing.

I know what MIA means. What is an MIA request?

Okay...they are requests that are never returned and whereabouts unknown.

I'd rather receive a RTS because at least I would get my photo's and SASE back.
