Storing Autographs
Hi everyone.
How do you all store your autographs? As I am just starting and don't know how to store them.
Thanks,
David

Hi Dave20vt wrote:Also another question...
How do I obtain a Certificates of Authenticity for my autographs?
Thanks,
Dave

Occasionally you will be lucky enough to get a letter or note from the celebrity or their agent, and this is basically the nearest you will get to a valid Certificate of Authenticity.
On the whole, unless (like me) you are collecting for charity a celeb will not send you a COA. You only really need a COA if you are planning to sell the autograph, and virtually no celebrity will send you an autograph on that basis.
The final point I would raise is that in reality a COA is practically worthless anyway, as there is nothing to stop anyone making their own.
You are far better off writing a nice letter to the celeb and spending a bit of time on that. You may well get lucky and receive a letter back, and that will be of far greater use to you than a COA.
Hope this helps!
