My personal favorite is blue. I think they autographs look better in blue.

Blue and silver on dark photos.

Some claim black turns yellow over time, I have a few with a yellowish "halo" around the edges but nothing bad or noticable w/o really looking for it.

I think blue looks best.

Kinda depends on the photo itself, but I like black better than the other colors.

I'd imagine anything about black turning yellow has to do with the pen, not the color.

Silver on dark photos, black on other photos.

Well I think blue looks the nicest, although you don't really see it too often, same with Gold, I think it looks amazing but I very rarely see it. I do like how silver looks on darker pictures, although I see it smudge way too often! I do like black as long as it the picture isn't too dark to see it (I've had a few of those unfortunately). So to be honest I don't really mind what colour my autographs are signed in as long as it is visible over the background!

I'm hapy with anything as long as you can see it and it doesn't smudge badly. My favourites are probably black and silver though.
