Magazine photos

Unread post by BossC »

The other day I found some really great full page pictures of people I want to write in a magazine. I normally print my own photos and send them, but it seems a shame to waste the nice magazines pictures.

So my question is this: how do autographed magazine pages hold up under time? Would you send them if you had the choice? The magazines are Time and Entertainment weekly if that makes any difference. I seem to remember something about some paper having acid in it, and I would appreciate any advice and help.

In 2003, I went to Cleveland for a fairly big heavy metal festival. I had many bands sign the inside of the magazine, as it had a huge spread with the band names, bios, pictures. The signatures have held up just fine for going on 7 years now. Then again, I'm not sure of the difference in paper used.
