Hi Lucas42 {up}

Most of the envelopes I have received from the USA have been A4 (9"x12"), and the average price to the UK is $1.60.

I have checked on the US Postal Service website, and $1.60 covers up to a 2 oz letter (A4 size - 9x12). So I checked the cost of sending a 2 oz letter (same size) to to Australia from the USA and it is $1.70.

Most of the letters I have had back from the US have has 2 x 80c stamps on. If you want to check out other prices from the US to other countries etc, use their postal calculator here: http://ircalc.usps.gov/

Hope this helps!

Lucas42 wrote:Thanks for your help. $1.70 does seem to be the most common price I've got, but I have no idea why some of them are only 92 cents. It's weird!
Hi Lucas42 {up}

I know what you mean, I have had sucesses from the US with only 80c on! I guess it all depends on how pedantic the postal service are going to be :lol:

I still reckon to go for the $1.70 price to be on the safe side. Otherwise you risk the auto going back to sender as undeliverable :?
