I just went back and looked at the postings about 2009 successes, and thought I would get something started about 2010 starting off so well.

I have, so far, recieved 44 successes since the first of the year. I won't list them all but it is a very good start after getting 313 last year.

Over 20 have been sports related but I have recieved some very nice actors / actresses / musicians.

Wow, 44 successs so far? Nice! I've only gotten two, but they have been amazing replies (Bailee Madison & Cliff Robertson). Working on getting a letter out to Corbin Bleu soon. Wanted it to go out last week but things have been coming up and I can't get my photos printed at wal-mart.

I've noticed that when it comes to TTM successes with a combination of sports and celebs, most people post around an 85% success rate. I get my stats from another site (assuming they are being truthful, of course). Mine for last year stands at 90% for sports, as opposed to 50% for celebs, for a total of (yep, you guessed it) 85.71% for the year.

So to get 44 replies in one month, that means sending a lot of requests out. A lot. I send around 18 to 20 per month, so I wouldn't expect that many returns in the same period of time.

Like you, Ryan, I have slacked off TTM requests a bit also. I live around a four or five hour drive from Pittsburgh and have been planning on attending the fanfest coming up this weekend so I've been saving up for that. With my income that means squirreling away every penny I can. I should be "back to normal" next month and start sending more requests out soon.

Not for me it's not a good start yet darnit it's been annoying the last couple of weeks not getting anything.
