I am facing a huge TTM drought. The thing that bums me out is that people get multiple successes or just a success from these people. Can anybody explain what am I supposed to do? Yes I send SASES.

Sorry to hear your having a TTM dry spell. those are never fun. Do you include photos with your request? If not, are the SASE's 9x12 so the celeb can send an 8x10 photo. those are the standard sizes 90% of them send out. Can you post a list of who you are waitinf for? Maybe that would help.

everyone goes through them... theyre tough to say the least

you got the biggest 1 down, SASE. 2nd biggest is ur own provided photo. 3rd id say is ur letter... make sure its handwritten & unique, make sure to show that ur a fan.

finally, patience, as much as i hate to say it & as much as u hate to hear it.

While I do agree with above posts that providing a photo does help, as always with these things, it always varies from celeb to celeb, some you HAVE to provide a photo. Some weeks I've gotten 5 autos and I've gone as many as 3 weeks straight without anything. I've also noticed celebs that others have gotten successes from people that I'm waiting on, and we sent around the same time, It is important to remember that not all celebs are good about keeping their mail in order of the date they received them. I've noticed a couple of celebs seem to pick fanmail to sign seemingly at random.

There is also a weird thing that happens from time to time, in which someone wont get an auto from someone who is a "great signer", either something gets lost in the mail, or for some unknown reason the celeb just doesn't want to grant a specific request. Writing a good LOR is key to solve this problem. A great example is Ryan J's bad luck with Stan Lee, I've read him mention that he's sent to Stan several times with no luck

Very True! Still debating on whether I should spend more money and send again.

I have sent to George Lopez, Betty White, Tyler Mane.

Betty White ALWAYS responds to her fanmail, so you shouldn't have any problems with her.

the other 2, I'm not sure of. My guess would be that Lopez might send a Pre-Print (PP), and Tyler could possibly ask you for money. He always does conventions, so depending on whether or not his lines of fans got to his head, that would be the deciding factor what may happen. He seems to be a cool guy, so you may get a response from him!

I too am having a mild drought. I just think that it's a slow graph time for me. I have at-least 15-20 out and some have been out for a long time.

Cash is hurting me on sending out more often right now, but I have my next batch all ready for when I decide that I am able to send again.
