I was just wondering if you have ever wrote a prisoner maybe one who is slightly known for what he has done sorta like Charles Manson or any others.
I know it sounds crazy but I have always wondered.

I have actually heard of people getting success from people in jail. There are a lot of rules that the jails have though. I don't think they will pass a photo or a sase to the prisoner. Just the letter. Also you might be better off writing to their lawyer.

Manson is kinda known for replying to people. I figured that if I were to try to write, I wouldn't get anything back, so I purchased a postcard that someone was selling for $75. Sounds like a bargain to me!

not for authentic and pristine autograph collectors, though. what she did was make a quilt out of them, STITCHING over the signature. that's a nono.

I have sent 2 letters to prisoners, however the men were not known primarily for their crimes. One was to Manuel Noriega and the other was to former Louisiana Governor Edwin Edwards. I sent them each a photo and I both times I got them back signed and inscribed. I have heard that different prisons have different rules and what you can send depends on the type of prisoner ie. maximum security or minimum. I don't think a SASE can be sent to any prisoner though.
