I've only ever encountered Jeff Beck once and he didn't sign going into a venue before a show. He blew by all of us and didn't bother even looking at us. Not sure if this is normal for him, or if he signed after the show. Sorry that I can't be of more help.

I had the exact same experiance at both the venue and hotel. He will just ignore you and walk by. Don't bother to try.

bud simpson hit the nail on the head. Saw Jeff Beck a few months ago when he came in for the Rock and Roll HOF concert, didn't do a single thing that week. He didn't stop going in the hotel when there were 4 of us. Didn't stop when he left the hotel when there were 15 people waiting (didn't help that someone went up to him with Aerosmith albums). He definitely didn't stop after the R&R HOF show at Madison Square Garden.

If it was me and I want his autograph I would try. So maybe I wouldn't get my hopes up too much, but ya gotta give it a shot. You show up without an autograph, you leave without an autograph. What's there to lose? Sure it hurts, I'll admit that. But after a while the sting of rejection goes away. Usually.
