Hi Everybody,

I want to get a few of my autographs authenticated ...I will mail them out probably to psadna but in the mean time I want just a quick opinion from an online autograph authentication website. So far I have only found two places,,,One website called FPGaro.com which is the cheapest and ama which is twice as much...I want to do an online authentication first just to get an idea if its real or not so I don't spend all the time and money mailing it out and waiting a month to find out that its fake...Any thoughts?

Recently there was a thread started on the legitimacy of authentication companies- but I'm not going to get into that here. Depending on what you are looking for- if you just want a quick opinion & you plan to go through PSA/DNA then PSA's QuickOpinion might make sense. For $10 they say Probably or Probably Not- and if it comes back as Probably Authentic and you end up having then Authenticate it, they'll take $10 off the normal fee.

**I've never used this service (QO) and don't know how worthwhile it is, but if you're sure you're going to send it in, then you're not losing anything.

Why not post your authenticity requests here in the Is My Autograph Authentic? forum? In most cases, it's just as good as any authentication website and it's FREE!

If you were to sell your autographs, or just like it to be 'worth' as much as it can be, doesn't the 'value' increase once it's been authenticated? I'm new to this so this may be a shallow understanding of the process.
