Last September I ordered on-line about 100 dollars worth of autographs from poppel.com. They have a website selling items from past signing they hosted. They are one of the hosts of the Ultimate Collectors Show in Philadelphia, as well as other smaller signing in the Philly area. They never sent the merchandise I paid for. They dragged it out until it was past the date that PayPal would reclaim my money. Since then, I have had some contact with them, and they keep saying that we will get it straightened out. However, this is when all communications cease. I went through the Better Business Bureau with the same result: no refund. They currently have a D- rating with the BBB.

Now going on 8 months, I still have not received a refund. So I am shouting from the rooftops:

STAY AWAY FROM POPPEL.COM

Too bad. I'll have to check them out. I'm from the Philly area and have never heard of them.

I guess you cannot trust anyone.
