I just started to get into autograph collecting about two days ago. I read up and I think I got the process down. I got a large folder, put another large folder inside with stamps and my adress on it, and a personal letter requesting a autographed picture. I did'nt actually put pictures in because I don't have access to a good printer so I figure it's better to just have them supply their own.
I sent out what I think was alot at once at the first time I dont know how many most people send at a time. I plan on sending out more in a few days. These are the people I send my letters to.
American Pickers
Andrew Zimmern
Dane Cook
Gabriel Iglesias
Mark Wahlberg
Matt Wood
Olivia Munn
Pawn Stars
Seth Macfarlane
Ozzy Osbourne
Hugh Hef.
Steve Colbert
Zack Galfianakis
Hugh Hefner
I put 3 forever stamps on the outside letter that gets to them. On the (I think it's called a SASE) SASE I put on 2 because I figure its going to be lighter.
I'm new, is this good?

Don't post negative comments, we are all here to collect and have fun, if you don't feel this way, you're in the wrong place.
Re: I'm new, is this good?
You got it right. As for the stamps, i do the same thing. 3 on the outside 2 on the return one. Dont always assume they will send a photo back. sometimes you have to supply your own. Always do research to make sure. Good luck with your requests.
Re: I'm new, is this good?
You don't need to have a printer. There are plenty of places you can order pictures online. I usually use Walmart, and depending on how soon I need them I either use the one hour service or the service that ships directly to my home. Having them ship it to me at home is cheapest, but if I need it right away it is cheaper to use the one hour service than going to the store and using the kiosk.
It's always a smart move to include your own picture.
