Autograph regrets?

Have you ever written to anyone for an autograph or purchased one and then wished you hadn't?
This has happened to me twice! I purchased a personalised autograph from the Katie Price (Jordan) official website in 2008 as I was a big fan of hers back when she was with Peter Andre! Now, after the way she's behaved recently, I hate the sight of it and I regret buying it! I also purchased an autograph from Danielle Lloyd's website just before the Celebrity Big Brother racism scandal! I actually threw that one away at the time!!
Am I the only one or has this happened to anyone else?

The only request I regret sending is the one I sent to Will Ferrell. It came to my attention only after I sent that he doesn't sign TTM, generally. Oh well. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I don't have any regrets about sent requests, but I do have a few regrets about wishing I'd sent to people who are no longer with us.

My main regret, when it comes to autographs, is when I've had to part with some due to financial hardship. I was really scraping bottom at one point and I ended up having to sell several that I really liked. The worst -- I wish now I hadn't sold it -- was a Death on the Nile photo signed by Bette Davis, Angela Lansbury, and Maggie Smith. It definitely helped to let it go, but I wish I still had it.

DITTO! I kick myself so many times for not taking an hour or so and putting a request together for many people who have passed away.

Oh, man. I have a Death on the Nile mini-poster signed by two of the three (no Bette Davis, which is the most valuable of course). I feel your pain.

My worst was not really the actor's fault. I thought I was sending to Sir Christopher Lee as it showed an actor with the name Christopher Lee was appearing in a play in New York. I rushed and sent out a letter, about a month or so later I saw the SASE come back and was really excited when opening it - when I did it , it was from some other Christopher Lee, pretty much mocking my letter and saying all the cast enjoyed reading it, also received a signed photo from him. That was ripped up and put in the bin, I remember being really angry about it and considered stopping collecting. I guess it's technically my own fault but I just wish I hadn't sent it.
