Hi I'd like to hear from other Australian's who have had success with writing to celebrities overseas.
So far I've had success from John Travolta, Kim Clijsters, Pooh Bear and Friends and Andy Roddick.

I am currently waiting to hear back from:
Barbara Eden
Reese Witherspoon
Kelly Clarkson

Also if i sent it how do i go about posting it to someone in the USA??
Do i have to go to the post office and hand it in there? Im really new at this if you can help thanks alot!!

You could send the A4 scrapbook to celebrities to look at, but you have to remember that they don't have a lot of time to look through everyone's mail. Furthermore, you should never send something unless you're prepared to lose it, as sometimes celebrities don't even bother responding, it gets lost in the mail, it comes back RTS, it gets damaged while in transit etc.

If you wish to post it overseas to the US or another country (it will be expensive though), put it in an envelope, address and put Air Mail stickers on it, and get it weighed at the post office to determine how much postage is required.

The following successes I have had to date include (from what I can remember off the top of my head - I know there have been more!):

Mark Harmon
David McCallum
NCIS Cast Photo
Jackie Chan
Brad Garrett
Rowan Atkinson
Judge Judy
Disney - Snow White & Tigger
Toyota F1 Team
Williams F1 Team
... and about 25 SFM successes

I haven't been collecting that long though (since mid last year.) Postage and IRC's have been a pain in the neck though :P!

Sending a 48 page binder book internationally will cost a minimum of $3.60 (if it is 50 grams or under - $2.40 in the Asia/Pacific region). However, take it to the post office to get it weighed to make sure (it may cost more depending on how much it weighs).

If you are just posting within Australia, $1.00 should be sufficient postage (if the letter is up to 125 grams).

Good luck with your collecting :)
