I am holding a charity auction for Starlight Childrens Foundation.

All the autographed photos, books and other star items I have managed to get will be sold at my auction event in October.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any websites where I might be able to advertise my event to bring it to the attention of people who would be interested in buying the items to add to their collections.
as well as books and photos, I also have a few truly unique items.

Any help / ideas would be much appreciated.

thanks for your input. I have a facebook page and Twitter account already? Will look at creating a myspace and craigs list page.

I was wondering more about any specific collectors sites people might know of? Or networks on facebook I could mention my event on? Any Twitter accounts I should try to get to follow me?

Just a Twitter idea: Many celebs are happy to RT about charity events.

If an item does not sell, will you put ti for sale here? Some of those items (Ana Ivanovic card, Sienna Miller autograph, George Clooney) sound great!

All the items that dont sell on the night of the auction will be put on Ebay, still with all money raised going to the charity.

If you are interested, but not able to attend the night, some of the items will be open for bidding by email before the event. If the email bid is still the highest on the night then the email bidder will win and the items will be sent out by recorded delivery.
