I was just wondering why Daniel Radcliffe signs David Radcliffe??
It just doesn't make sense to me..

If I had to guess, I'd say most likely what you may be seeing is an abbrieviated signature. Some celebs and sports personalities do this. They are leary of giving a nice signature in fear of them winding up on eBay, so they "scrunch up" their signature to lessen the value of the item. Sometimes it winds up looking like they signed a totally different name, or can just be plain unintelligible.
