Yup, I do that all the time, and yes, I have recieved successes from it. No point in chucking out the stamps with the envelopes when you can have a free second chance! :D

I see nothing wrong with re-using an envelope that is in good shape. There is nothing wrong with re-using a stamp that hasn't been cancelled. I do it whenever I can. It's a free 2nd use. There is nothing illegal about either one.

i mean, im sure u wont go to jail over it, but you are cheating the system. You are suppose to pay for stamps, not just use old ones. I mean, im sure if your postoffice found out, then something will happen.

I don't think it's that big of a deal. :?

Worst cast scenario is probably your letter being returned back to you.

I guess the post office should put more of an effort in clearing the stamps if they don't want people to re-use them

But if you feel uncomfortable with it, just don't do it

Hope it helps.

I don't really think it is cheating the system. I mean you did pay for the stamp in the first place. The post office couldn't find out, how could they tell. And besides, why would they make an issue about a measly thirty-seven cents.

I agree with sex_is_not_the_enemy, if you feel uncomfortable, just don't do it.
