Morton Sobell

I hope nobody will attack me for asking this, but I wanted to know if Morton Sobell, who was involved with the Rosenbergs, hated Americans? Because I believe I read somewhere that he did. I may be wrong, though, and it may have been somebody else. My mind has a tendency to play tricks on me. 
I wanted to ask because I am not sure if I should send to him or not - if he wouldn't reply to me because I am an American. I would strictly want his autograph for historical purposes only. I do not condone what he did, but it certainly would be a unique autograph to have. Should I take a shot at it? I did find his home address.
