Sarah Mclachlan signing habits

Sarah is coming in my town next week and I'd love to meet her but I have heard bad things about her. Has anyone met her??
yes, dozens of times (being from Vancouver I see her at least once a year somewhere)
The poor reviews you hear of her are somewhat true.
Shes not a very good signer...BUT, if you can physically get up to her, she usually will do it begrudgingly...but if she even has to walk 10 ft to you, its very unlikely to happen... but again, not impossible. I did get her at venue one time where she had to walk about 60 ft over to us...but 4 out of 5 times, she doesnt do it if its out of her way. The key is trying to get her somewhere where you can physically get withing arms length of her.
She is doing a radio interview and I was thinking of getting her but it's a half and hr away so I am not sure. I know it will be intimate and I was thinking of getting her beforehand but if you say she is mean I might skip it. Especially when I have to drive a half and hr to get there. Thanks
