A preference question

I had a question about how everybody writes their letters and envelopes. Not like it will change how I do things, but I was just curious about how everybody goes about it.
Do you hand write or type letters? If you hand write do you write in pen or pencil? If you write in pen, what color do you write in?
Or do you have a preference?
Do you hand write the addresses and return addresses on the envelopes or do you type them up?
Like I said, none of this really matters, I was just wondering how everybody else does things. I guess this is also assuming you have good enough hand writing that you can write stuff and be able to read it.

Mostly I hand write my letters in whatever is closest. Doesn't matter if it's a pen or a pencil.
I also hand write the address.

I prefer to hand write my letterS and envelopes, in my personal opinion I feel that typed letters can be interpreted as generic letters (as they are often in a template style, taking just a couple of minutes to alter).
I tend to use black or blue pen (as its easily visible).
The main thing is: if it works for you, keep doing what your doing!

Yeah, I'm not going to change how I'm doing it, like I said.
I always hand write the letter, usualy in pen but I will write with whatever is closest. And I will use any color ink as long as it is visible.
I used to always hand write the addresses, but I just figured out that you can do addresses on your printer so I think I might start typing the envelopes but still decorate them so that it doesn't just look like a plain typed envelope.
I agree with YOURS_SINCERELY, if you type the letter it can seem like a template that is easily changed.
Actualy I think I did type one letter because it was to someone I really wanted to get and I knew it would be to long if I hand wrote it. But it wasn't like a template, it was a very personalized letter, and I'm hoping I still get a reply from that person.

I have a couple of styles of stationery I use and always handwrite my letters (I am an engineer, so I write in ALL CAPS-easier to read too I think). Blue/Black ink.
For a bit of personalization, I print up the address labels and put a little clip art image in the corner that relates to the recipient (race car, video camera, book, etc...). I figure its a nice, non stalkerish, touch. I think coloring the envelope or drawing on it is a little much. Then again my artwork looks like a child's...

I write in whatever pen is nearest but I do have a lot of fountain pens so I usually end up writing with one of those! I always handwrite my letters because I enjoy writing more than typing. {thumb2}
