Custom cards?
Hey, Im not sure if there is a thread about this but...
Can anyone give me tips on how to make custom cards? Do you people use certain programs, do you buy them or? What kind of paper do you print them on?
I would really like to start making some but I have no idea how to get started. Any help would really be appreciated. I am sick of spending my $$ on printer Ink and I would like to make some nice smaller custom cards.

Re: Custom cards?
HAHA! Thanks man!!
For my custom cards I use a program called 'Greeting Card factory Express.

I have an older version (3.0) but it still does an incredible job. you can also import your own images and add text to really make them look nice.
I basically self-taught myself with all my Graphic design programs and have toyed around with many ideas and designs over the years and keep improving them all the time.
I use colored cardstock and cut it to 4x6 size. It's durable and if you look around you can find bunches of it for really cheap.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!!

ASK USER: RYAN J!
GOOD LUCK!
Re: Custom cards?
Depending on the genre, you might be better off buying trading cards. It might be cheaper, but I'm not so sure. About the only time I make customs is if I can't find something big enough to print out as a photo via Walmart's web site. I like to let them worry about replacing ink cartriges.
Really! My ears are still ringing and no one is home to answer.HappinessStan wrote:Please don't shout.

Re: Custom cards?
i'm sorry for bothering you, but is there any free way of making custom cards? thanks!
Re: Custom cards?
Sorry to make you throw a childish temper tantrum. I don't have to know you. I only had to know that your post was considered shouting. Unfortunately, bad nettiquette on your part requires that someone ask you not to shout. If you don't like being told to pipe down, then read up on propper nettiquite and follow it.dueby_boys wrote:Excuse me but you dont know me.

About the only free way I can think of is to use Microsoft Paint. That's what I use to make my customs, but I make custom 4x6 and larger photos. It's just a matter of finding images online and putting them together. Use your imagination.HIHIHI wrote:i'm sorry for bothering you, but is there any free way of making custom cards? thanks!
