Tom Baker seems to occasionally sign through the mail, though his website says he doesn't. Got him TTM ten years ago.

Peter Davison: haven't seen a lot of TTM successes from him (getting him in February at the GallifreyOne Con in CA!). I wrote to him once, never got anything back.

Colin Baker: Don't know. Wrote to him 10 years ago but never got a response, had to get him in-person.

Sylvester McCoy: haven't seen one in a while; he replied to my request 10 years ago.

I've never seen a Paul McGann TTM, but that doesn't mean anything. Eccleston, neither.

Colin Baker replied to me not long ago. We've met Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy at signings a couple of times and both are really very nice people with time for everyone, which means a lot when you've got star-struck Doctor Who-mad kids along for the ride.

Peter Davison may have been having a bad day when we met him and bought a signed photo, but having met him I don't think that I would send something to be signed, he doesn't seem to enjoy it very much even when he's being paid for it.

I wrote to Paul McGann about 6 months ago and haven't heard back yet.

In the past I've never had a problem with Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Colin Baker* & Sylvester McCoy. Peter Davison & Paul McGann seem harder to get responses from even to this day. Chris Eccleston I got before his role as the Doctor, but now I hear he's very difficult to get hold of. David Tennant you need to be patient as he is busy, but I'm confident you will get a response.
* Once had a spat with him via letters that remains to this day, so he does reply - or at least did.

Doctors aside, companions are normally no problem bar Lalla Ward (anyone..?), guest stars no problem either. Most enjoy the fact you still remember them. {up} :D

Yeah I never had luck with Lalla Ward either, and I've been waiting on Louise Jameson since August. Maybe since I sent cash for postage instead of IRCs? I dunno.

Eccleston if you can get him via venue otherwise its a pp
McGann will sign IP but is gunshy about it ttm
Tom Baker, if you can't get him ttm....here's another option

Davison yeah is a bit iffy ttm.
Colin Baker bless him
Sylvester McCoy via the Panto's right now if he's involved can be gotten.
Matt and David both are good ttm.
Companions...my favorite so far has been Caroline John who included a signed photo of her husband who was the Master in the Keep of Traken. Nicholas Courtney will reply ttm, just takes a good while. Eric Roberts the Master in the 96 movie signs ttm. Address is on his website.
