I have a small autographed collection and have been successful 90% of the time. I always send a self addressed stamped 8/12 envelope with my letter of request. I always keep it brief and expess I enjoy there work naming the projects. I am always polite.
I sent a self addressed stamped envelope with my brief comments to the proper address in November of 2005 but have not received any reply. I know others have been successful. Should I try again or should I take it as he is not signing pictures anymore since the Notebook.
Thank you

You just need to be patient. Thats a big part of this game. Some autographs can take a long time to come. Some days, some weeks, months, even years. Give it some time. Im sure it will work for you. If after a while you still arent to sure then yeah give it a try. Hope this helps.

hi! I wanted to let you know that I have literally sent Ryan Gosling 3 letters with pictures for him to sign each time and have included a sase. I have also sent just 2 letters. So, in total I have written him 5 times within the past year and have never gotten a reply. Like you, I am usually successful 90% of the time and am very polite in my letters as well as keeping them short, while still telling them that what I like about their work etc. I am disapointed because I have seen so many successes with him, but maybe its all about luck. Anyway, I wanted to let you know that I to am waiting and have been unseccessful. I hope you recieve yours soon :D

We are very fans of Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams and we sent us 2 letters with SASE on 07.19.05 and they didn´t request us

.
We think that is very difficult get an autograph of Ryan, Rachel and Jared Padalecki but we must be patience

.
I wish they wrote us

Good luck!!

I also sent Ryan a letter in July. It seems that maybe he started getting too many letters and stopped responding by mail or just might take a really long time. There have been successes for him, but I havent noticed one in a while though. I wish us all lots of luck!!
