Why are Harrison Ford's autograph so valuable?

I see them go for hundreds and hundreds. Why is that?

Maybe he doesn't sign that many, that pushes up the price. Plus he's a superstar too.

Supply and demand. He isn't a very good signer, and he is very popularity.

Hes in Star Wars and doesnt do conventions or sign much ttm. Also he charges hundreds for a certified 8x10 from the Star Wars official store.

I got started collecting Star Wars signatures when I was little but changed and no longer collect anyone from them. Star Wars and Star Trek are probably the most common signatures around with all the conventions and things going on all the time.
