My first was Mr. Gale Gordon (the Lucy Show) in person in the early 1970's. (I lived in the same city and saw him regularly). Getting his autograph was what got me started and I am still collecting nearly 40 years later.
I have been asked many times about trading / selling some of my autographs. I am sorry but my collection is not and will not be for sale.

Yeah, I suppose. I do have a couple autographs. Some of the IP 's from the 1970's are still among my favorites, but then again, some of the newer ones are pretty nice too.
That's what I enjoy about posting in the autographs that I have game, it gets me to go back and look at some that I have had (and had stored away) for many years.

My milestone autographs will be Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron.
I have been trying to get both since I started collecting autographs.
I probably have about 50 requests out each for them to VV addresses
and agency addresses.

I just remember autograph #1. It was of Padres pitcher Dave Campell before a Phillies/Padres game in Philadelphia in 1972. It was on the back of one of my dad's business cards. I have no idea what ever happened to it.
