This is only my opinion! But I thought this site is to help the collector and it seem's to have alot of Na Na Na Na Na'ers on here. What I mean is "I have an address and you can't use it." And then they say it is to protect the person, but excuse me they have allready been botherd by that person. I am not trying to cause trouble I am just tired of this. Esdpecially if it is someone I have been trying to contact and can not reach. So please give your 2 cents on this.

I will not give an address out if I think it will get

I disagree also. If nothing else, it points to the fact that that person will sign - you just have to do your own work to get it.

I can't say I agree with that. I've always enjoyed doing the searching; I've found great pics that way.

I can see the point of both sides. So I'll argue both.

Disagree: I understand how it's frustrating (trust me :neutral: ) for someone not to give out an address, but do see the point about doing your own "research" and for the celeb not to get overloaded.

Agree: but at the same time, isn't that EXACTLY what this forum is for? Sharing the addresses so that other collectors can collect as well? Why have a forum otherwise?

I don't mind sharing agency addresses. It is the VV addresses and email
addresses that get spammed enough where they will stop signing completely.

i think that you are right it is like they found the fan mail and if they know person they should help. i had people say i will not give it look it up then i try to but i can not find anything and then they are done with a show or with the movie. i like to help out all my friends on here if i can sometimes it is hard beacuse i do not know how to look up a moive set fan mail but if i can help them i do. i do not say know.

I think the fact that they get on here to post they had success and won't share the address just for attention shows the type of loser that individual is. I honestly find it humerous. The address spammed thing is a bunch of garbage. Because the same idiot will continue to mail the celeb and then sell stuff on ebay. Theres several of those pathetic people on here as well.

Obvisouly it goes without saying that 'real collectors' do not want their celebs home or via venue addresses being completely spammed by loads of people, and we do know that it happens. Let's face it if every single person got hold of these addresses then what chance would the real collectors have of getting their most sought after autographs? And just for the record although I've been collecting for a while I don't have a clue how to find out these kinda things, but I wouldn't hassle anyone for an address because I know WHY they don't give them out. It is frustrating for me, but at the end of the day if I had someone's address I'd be very reluctant to give it out, although I more than likely would 'vet' them, check out their profile and whatever and see if they seemed like a reasonable person to give it to.

On the other hand, yeah it's a bit tough for people who are genuine and can't find addresses, but at the end of the day I wouldn't like to have obtained an address only to find out that it got spammed by greedy people!

Just because someone doesn't post the address.
Doesn't mean they are a loser. The picture they post
is equally as important so people can compare it.
