Hi harrylare
Are these your own 'in-person' successes, or are they from another source?
If so, where were you lucky enough to get them?

Hi all
Thanks harrylare for starting this debate
Does someone know the name of the person/manager who may sign for them? (Sutherland & Newman)
Here is the original post including Paul Newman, Clint Eastwood, and Sutherland scans:

Just what I was going to ask Admin
I would really like to know the source or circumstances of the above 'genuine in-person' autographs before I make any personal assumptions
I can see
parts of Newman's and Sutherland's autographs seem to be similar, but I just have to agree with previous posters a bit and say that neither of those two autographs have changed much over many years. So whoever autographs the TTM pictures they have been employed for quite some time!

I did read an article where Hollywood actually hires people to sign autographs for high profile celebrities. Also there is a running joke within the hobby that Clint Eastwood looking at an autograph can't tell himself if he signed it or his secretary did. Unfortunately alot of high profile celebs DO NOT SIGN THRU THE MAIL. I also read an article where a neighbor of clint eastwood's actually stated that with the amount of requests clint receives he may have to employ more people to sign and laughed. If anyone is familiar with Abbott and Costello the famed comedians. Lou Costello, according to an interview many years ago with his personal secretary, she admiited that she signed his name so many times to autograph requests that it got to the point you couldnt tell the difference. She went on further that she even wrote and signed letters back to his own family and that the only thing he actually insisted on signing was his bank checks. He thought that was important.

Looking at the Eastwood sigs, I would think the TTM sigs are real, just a little less rushed.
