1 - Price List

Sent 2-4x6 on 11/8/10

Received Price List on 11/15/10

Don't want to get back on this topic of price lists. However seems like Football & Baseball are the main sports looking to have the fans pay out their pockets for an Autograph. I know it's for a charity... then why not say give what you can, instead $30, $50, Sometimes over $100 if you want your favorite athlete's autograph. My theory is some of the money you make off your Jersey that is still sold today, why not just give that money to charity and give back to the fans some. Just my opinion.

It's really getting out of hand. Very few people will spend the $100 for a signature, but probably many would spend $20. If it's for charity, which price would raise more money?

Ebay has ruined the TTM autograph hobby. Too many people getting free autographs and selling them.

See celebs are using that as a cop-out though. If you don't want your autographs sold on ebay then personalize them. Unless you find someone with that same name you won't get a dime for the auto.

What's the big deal? The athlete states the price he/she wants for their autograph and you decide whether you'd like like to pay the fee. It's that simple. No one is entitled to a free autograph from anyone. And I don't care what they do with the money, I'll pay the fee if I decide it's worth it and what they do with the money when they get it is up to them. If you don't want to pay the fee then don't, but don't whine that someone won't sign for you for free like they owe you something.

And Gale Sayers has charged forever, so this shouldn't have been a shock to you.

I guess it shouldn't be a shocker that over paid athletes try to squeeze every nickel and dime out of the fans. You're right.

it is outrageous. you shouldn't have to pay them to basically vandalize your stuff. im just a collector, as my username suggests, and i dont sell the autographs, but athletes have a stereotype about fans.
