Hello!
I would like to send a record cover to a band via venue. How exactly would I go about doing that? Like, what kind of packaging would I use to send it, as well as what kind of packaging would I use to have it sent back to me?
Thanks!

I used to send record covers all the time. Believe it or not, they do sell envelopes that are that size. A store like Staples has them. For your SASE, I used to use a Priority mail box. You can even send up to 3 albums for the same cost.
PM me if you have any questions.

I used to buy them on eBay, I'm in the UK so you'll want to find one nearer to you.
When you buy some, it is worth buying the card stiffeners that fit them for extra protection, particularly if you're sending 12" covers.
If I were doing it, I would use the mailer as the return envelope, with the stiffener inside already, then find a big plain envelope to send the whole lot in, or wrap it around with brown paper. They can then just pop the sleeve in the mailer and send it back.
Good luck
