Julie Andrews & Nicholas Hammond to my wife who loves the Sound of Music), Perry Davey (stuntman in Victor Victoria with Dame Julie), Missy Higgins & author Alexander McCall Smith. All were much appreciated and each of them wished my wife a happy birthday/Christmas with the inscription (except Julie - she just signed a book plate). The photos are perfect for framing and displaying.

I LOVE giving autographs. I volunteer at an elementary school, and got 2 huge posters, and an 8x10 picture signed by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor. I gave it to the library. I also got a 4x6 picture from Eric Carle that also went to the library. Lastly also for the library children's author Molly Bang sent two brand new, hardcover books and signed them for the library. She also signed a picture. I'm sure the librarians are very happy.

For my gf's birthday, I gave her:
Mark Harmon and David McCallum (personalized "happy birthday" to her)
NICS cast-signed script
scientist Neil DeGrasse Tyson (personalized)

She was over the moon!

Gave a work colleague a cap signed by half a dozen players from the AFL team she supports when she left. She loved it - but said that she'd wear it to every game... hope the signatures last!

Giving autographs makes the giver and the recipient both feel fantastic, a great thing to do! :D

I just gave my wife a Chelsea Handler that I got TTM a few days ago.
She doesn't really have ANY interest in autographs but she LOVED getting that one!

Several months ago my wife found an index card that her ex had gotten signed by Tom Cruise and basically threw it at me saying 'here!' because the memory of this guy was so repulsive to her.......does this count?????? lol

I suppose not everyone likes Tom Cruise and some might find him repulsive ;)

Well, she meant the memory of her ex was repulsive, not Cruise!
