Most of us seem to send or ask for 1-2 pictures when we write to a celeb, sometimes 3-4. What is the most number you have from ONE person, and why do you have some many? Do you just really like that celeb? Did they send way more than you ask?

Mine are:

Tom Baker (Doctor Who): I asked him for 1 photo, he sent me 14 and a note! I had to part with some, but I still have 6 pictures/postcards and the note he sent.

Joseph Culp (Dr. Doom in the 90s Fantastic Four movie): I sent him 3 photos; he signed those and sent 4 of his own, for a grand total of 7.

Frazer Hines (Doctor Who): I've seen him three years in a row at the GallifreyOne con, and gotten a few things signed each time, so in total I have 6 autographs from him.

James Earl Jones (Star Wars/Lion King): I've written to Mr. Jones 3 times over an 11 period, and have received a total of 6.

Peter Davison (Doctor Who): I had one (through a friend), but thanks to this year's Galley I ended up with a combined total of 5.

Nick Briggs (Doctor Who - voice of the Daleks): thanks to his convention appearances, I have 5.

Someone was selling tons and tons of Dr Who trading cards on eBay a couple of years back and I bought several lots - the IP ones we had already matched the ones in the batches I was buying, so I'm happy that (the vast majority at least) were genuine, and by the time I'd finished we'd ended up with in excess of 20 David Tennants. We kept a couple, and popped the rest in with Christmas cards for everyone we know who is into Dr Who. There were quite a few happy ten-year-olds and their Mums thanks to that :-)

I've received extra ones from a few people I've written to, but am never entirely sure if it's a good idea to post about it on here in case they suddenly get inundated and harrassed for multiples or freebies. I've had three or four extra ones included by three of the classic Dr Who assistants, all personalised to the kids.

We received what was practically a parcel from a children's TV presenter over here in the UK four days after sending our letter with three extra photos, a two page letter and a couple of signed doodles, which our daughter still thinks is the most exciting thing that has ever arrived in the post. A classic comedy actor sent an extra four on top of the two I'd sent, with a note apologising for the delay (it was still only a couple of months!)

I'm always very touched when anyone I've written to includes something extra, or writes a little note.

30+ from Bruno Sammartino. Living in Pittsburgh he does many shows around here (soon to be doing ONLY appearances around here) and he also does many that me and my group travel to. He's also told me many times that he doesn't mind signing anything through the mail as long as you provide the items and SASE, so I've sent some things to him as well. Since he's so close, it's always a quick turnaround, too. Once sent something on a Tuesday and got it back that Thursday. Most of these autographs can be seen here:

I have 6 from Mary Elizabeth Winstead because i wrote to her 3 times with 2 pics each time and got all 6 back...

I have 20+ from baseball player Jason Giambi. I got them all IP when he was playing with the A's. He was one of the most fan friendly guy I ever met.
