To all British collectors: Can I use my old stamps on..

Can I use my old 2nd class stamps, that I bought a few weeks ago, on my requests now that the postage has went up? I have 2 books of 2nd class stamps. I've already sent 2 requests with old stamps away yesterday so I'm wondering what will happen to them.. Thanks!

Yes, it's fine. If they don't have prices on then 2nd will always be 2nd, no matter. A bit like the Forever stamps.
