I want to send an autograph request to the band All That Remains, who is currently on tour. Could anyone help me as to when I should sent it or what to put on the envelope?? (Let's say the date they'll be performing at the venue i want to send to is 5/13/11 at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, Colorado)

I'd suggest sending it so that it arrives 3 days before the event (so around the 10th). You'd want to send it a few days before that, and bearing in mind the weekend, I'd probably send it on the Friday before. I'm not 100% on postage times in the states, but just aim to get it to arrive 3 days before the event.

You'd put:

All That Remains
c/o Fillmore Auditorium
1510 Clarkson Street
Denver, CO 80218-1419

Please hold for ALL THAT REMAINS on 5/13/11

A few days has worked for me on several occasions. Also multiple venues, explaining (& apologizing) that I have done this & that they can keep any extras (though they often just sign and send off the extras anyway)
