I have not had success sending fanmail via venue so far this year, see my posting for more details on that. Question if I am going to send to a venue that forwards fanmail, should I send it 5/7/10 days before the concert or performance?

Second question from 2009 til now, anyone have had success obtaining autographs via venue from the following:
Taylor Swift
Joss Stone
Eminem
Rihanna
Ciara
Katy Perry
Brittney Spears
Shakira

I am sending some via venue to, I'll let you know.

I generally aim to get it there about two or three days before. I have a very good success rate, but the people I write to tend not to be at the point in their careers where they arrive at venues with heavy security making sure that no-one gets anywhere near them. Good luck!

I would send 7 to 10 days before depending on how far across the country you are sending,Better safe than sorry. I have got back tons of VV successes over the past 2 years but from the people on your list i got this from britney spears in october 2009 when she did her concert in las vegas for the circus tour...

I've had great success via venue. I aim fir 2-3 days before event and try for multiple venues (but explain that I am doing this & that they should keep any subsequent ones they receive). If you send to multiple venues, write the name of the venue discretely on the envelope so you know which venues give successes.
