Framing event shirts....

I have a few t-shirts from rare concerts and events that I would love to get framed. I looked up jersey display frames and talk about sticker shock. They are in the 100 dollar and up range.

Is there a cheaper and cost effective way? I was thinking of just using poster frames is this a bad idea?

Any thoughts or tips would be welcomed.

I plan to frame my Guns N Roses* 2006 Us Tour and my Cheech and Chong shirt.

I buy cheap frames (even Ikea ones) then go to a proper framing shop and ask them to do the matte boarding. Saves about 50-60%. IMO the frame itself doesn't have to be expensive, it just has to look neat - as you're wanting observers to focus what's under the glass, not the frame. I've seen a few businessmen hang signed tops in their offices simply using a coat hanger (I'd go the framing myself).
