Preferred photo size?

When you print out your photos for signing, what size do you prefer?

10x15cm (4x6 inches) cheapest to print, fit into normal sized envelopes, & are, therefore cheaper to send and less likely to get bent.

15x20cm (6x8") usually 4x more expensive to print but look better framed and are easier to sign ... but cost more to send and are more likely to get bent trying to get squeezed into your letterbox.

20x25 (8x10") cost even more to print & post, easier to damage, costs more to frame but look great and I think are often standard at conventions?

Which do you prefer?

I've sent out plenty of 4x6s, 5x7s, and 8x10s. I usually do 8x10s here in the US for certain people and 4x6s over seas to the UK.

I prefer 4x6 photos because it's cheapest and I don't have a lot of money to spend doing this.

How much does it cost you to get 4x6" photos printed? Costs 9c Australian here - cheaper than buying a trading card!

I prefer 7x5 - they seem a nice tidy shape, but am mainly using and getting used to 6x4s at the moment as here in the UK it's pretty easy to find introductory offers of piles of free ones. The little ones are very handy for sending when one has no great expectation of seeing them again, or for cheaper postage back from overseas, particularly the US.

If I'm writing to a band via venue I'll usually send a 10x8 with a great big white border to give plenty of room for all the sigs. Anything bigger feels unwieldy, and A4 reminds me of the filing at work.

My preferred size is 8x10. Although I've written to a lot of people, I've only sent Sarah Palin a photo to sign which was an 8x10. I didn't send a photo to any of the others because I knew that they had their own photos to sign based on the successes that I've seen posted from other people.

I would love to send 8x10's but since 6x4's are much cheaper I send those :)

I almost only send 8x10's. I feel like they're the perfect size and they're just satisfying. {up} I just ordered my first 5x7's ever and that was mainly because the images were not high enough quality to print an 8x10. They're pricey but I only send to people I really like and it pays off in the end -- especially if you really think you're going to get it back.

I only send 8x10's. I get them printed online in bulk and send with a semi rigid photo mailer so they dont get bent. I also have a larger mailbox since I get so many envelopes makes it easier and they never get bent.

Postage and everything is expensive but I only send to select actors from my favorite shows normally. It would get expensive if I sent to every single person that signs ttm like Ive seen but whats the point? I guess to get a bunch of signatures but I have more than I know what to do with as it is.
