Help sending to the U.S from the U.K

Hi,

I've recently started autograph collecting but so far the only requests I have sent have been to people based in the U.K. and I have included a SASE. I would now like to send off a request to the U.S (Slash). I have been reading about how to do this and found out about IRC's but my local post office does not sell them and I am sure I have heard people saying not all post offices accept them. So I would like to know if there is any alternative and what my chances would be of getting a reply sending only a SAE?

Thanks

Hey, I sent to Slash from the UK and sent him 2 dollar bills to cover postage and he signed all 4 of my items. Hope that helps! 8)

If you want I can trade IRCs for UK stamps :)

Hey, thanks for the replies. Sending a couple of dollars will be the easiest alternative so I'll do that. :D

Hi I used to use IRC's when sending to America but the price of them just kept rising and i found that it is actually a lot cheaper to send some dollars over as they can sell you as little as $1 at the post office so that is deffinatley your cheapest and best option :)
