does anyone know if i, for instance, send a letter to an artist through their music label, do you think the label will forward this to the artist?

I hope they do because I've been sending some mail through them. If you wrote 'Please forward if possible' on it or something I don't see why they wouldn't.

Then again, that might be like writing to, say, Anne Hathaway (srry if that's spelled wrong!) about her performance in the Princess Diary movies and expecting them to forward it to her.

I honestly don't know, but it might be worth a try.

Hey guys {up}

You should be OK :P

Most record labels are usually pretty good at passing autograph requests onto their artists.

I have had several really good artis successes by writing to record companies. Also, many record companies will have a stock of "pre-signed" (not preprints) photographs to send out to fans.

These are photographs which the artist has signed as a batch and left with the record company.

Good luck!

Usually any record company will forward the fanmail to the band's post office box, or the people who are in charge of handling their fanmail. You just have to be paitent. It takes time.
