Tips!

I am new to this and i've sent out 11 letters and no replys yet.
does anyone have some tips for me and around what amount of time does it take for a person to respond?

Best tips I can offer is to send items and a properly stamped SASE with EVERY request you send out. and to Handwrite every request you send out.
would help if you could provide a list of the people you sent to. are they known for signing often TTM?
as for respond time that varies a lot. I've had some successes come back in under 7 days and have had some take almost 4 YEARS before it showed back up in my mailbox.

The first few months I started collecting I sent out like 75 letters and got 4 back (2 authentic & 2 PPs). Then after about 4 months I switched to doing SASE and wow it has definately made all difference. Yes more expensive but, worth it!
