Hi all,

I recently sent a celebrity a gift. She probably would be considered a B-list celeb. Was on a decent TV show, and in a couple of movies but nothing blockbuster. Anyways, she's currently filming a movie and I sent a really nice set of gifts with a short note, with no autograph request, etc, but the letterhead did have my contact details.

Is it absolutely insane to hope to hear something back from her?

It's possible you might hear back. Sometimes if you send gifts, they'll reply back saying thank you.

If it is something you wanted to do, and you really like the celebrity, I would not call it foolish at all.
