I just wanted to know what the difference is between a "secretarial" autograph (someone signing the person's name) and a forged autograph. I would rather get my envelope and stamps RTS'd or better yet not get anything back rather than a fake. Can anyone explain why some stars do this?

how i see it is
forgery is when someone signs an item to sell it off and make money off of it
sec autograph is somewhat more okay i guess since the celeb is giving their okay for their secs to sign pics for them and mailing it from 'fan mail' address

Big diff....They are both useless to us but a forgery is a fake signed for profit and a sec is approved by the celebrity which is legal..Thats the diff !!!

I guess with a sec they have the celebrity's permission, and apparently that makes it "okay".

They're identical - neither was signed by the celebrity so both are a load of junk.
