What do you do when you don't hear back?

I sent a fan letter and couple of photos to be signed to Aubrey Plaza 3 months ago. I have not received anything back yet. Should I just keep waiting?
I do know that she is currently filming a lot of movies and that I sent the letter to her agent's office. That could have something to do with it.
Is there a cut off though? Like a point when you just have to acknowledge that you will not be receiving anything back?

Some successes take a year or more...
some only a couple weeks.
To avoid disappointment you should do the following:
Mail an item. Say goodbye to it. If it comes back be excited, if it doesn't come back you knew it was a possibility.
I'd say after a year if you are keeping track though to resend it.

depends on the person.. some take a few days, few weeks, few months or even years..
so theres no exact time frame for a response

I wait a year, the give up on the person. I sometimes send to the person once to their management, then again if they are filming a movie a few weeks or months later I try them VV. I have sent to one person 8 times without a success and I am still trying. For you- 3 months isn't very long. Keep waiting and keep your finger crossed. Happy Collecting!

You just never know because i have got things back in less than a week vv and i just got back adrianne palickis autograph after 3 years and i have had others take more than a year so u just never know but on average u hear back within 6 months.

Some successes take over 1000 days to get back...so u need to just relax, take up a second hobby because this hobby is about "SENDING, WAITING, WAITING MORE (depending on the celeb), and the CELEBRATING" once it finally comes back! So try to be tolerant with the wait. No matter what, the wait will always be there.
