Yeah I've written a few WWII vets. I'm in the Navy so I have an interest. Have you had any successes?

Hey that's great! Yes, no WWII vets, although I do have one in my family. I have 8 or 9 Holocaust survivors, though!!

Some are still in Europe but all mine were from the USA

That's cool. I met one late last year when she was speaking at UTSA. It was interesting to hear her story.

I have only 1 man from WWII. He is not survivor or veteran, but he did such an amazing work during WWII. His name is Nicholas Winton (

I was really surprised, when I got reply from him (He's 103 years old now!).
